Cool Rain

In contrast to yesterday, today a front rolled in. You can see it coming across Lake Michigan. This picture was taken at 1:32 today looking across Ludington.

It continued to gradually darken until the rain hit at 5:40, wetting down the trees in a minute or two. For the contrast, I took a picture of the same trees that are in the picture from Hot Fog, yesterday.

I find one observation very interesting. That view is out my kitchen door. I've probably looked at it at least 10,000 times. But, until the camera saw it yesterday I had never seen the trees line up that way, drawing me into a trail that isn't there (but could be!).

That rain arrived here this morning.
It's amazing how a camera can make you see things in a whole new way

Oh no. That rain will be here soon, and I will have two wet dogs to deal with.

That rain started here as we were going to bed last night. Sunny morning today with dramatic skies.

"But could be . . ." Oh what potential lies ahead.

Ann- it sees what's there, not what one's brain thinks is there.

John- wet dogs are "fun" on so many levels

Chuck- the afternoon was nice here- cool and intermittently sunny.
